The first and second groups of our Chinese students arrived safely Thursday and Friday. The meeting of the students and the host families was truly a heavenly sight to behold.
It was hard to tell who were more excited ---- the students, the host parents or the host children. All went extremely well. It was like a great big pep rally but one that you needed Kleenex as there were many tears of excitement. We can hardly believe that it is less than 24 hours before our next group of students arrive!
We pray that you are ready for students and are as excited as we are. What an incredible journey for us as a church family. On behalf of the Second family a very big TEXAS THANK YOU goes to all our Host Families for giving so much of themselves and their families the next three weeks!
